Conference Banquet
The Gala dinner and reception is a highlight of the conference, and is typically well attended by all! This is an informal evening event, where you can mingle with your colleagues from around the world while enjoying beer/wine and great regional food. To help build community and welcome our early career colleagues, we also hold the poster session during the cocktail hour, which has become a truly lively event.
For each conference we seek a special venue in Atlanta to welcome our visitors from across the country and the globe. This year’s Gala is in a contemporary venue overlooking Centennial Park in the center of downtown Atlanta, with 360 views from the 15th floor, including a large open air balcony. The weather in Atlanta is truly fantastic – warm and breezy.
Please be sure to join us for the Gala evening! And do note that you need to decide in advance whether you are coming and pay accordingly. Due to the need to anticipate numbers attending, we will be unable to accept onsite registration for the banquet.
